I love helping people turn their ideas or needs into projects. Mostly software building projects, but I am also not a stranger to event and conference organization, public speaking, and holding workshops.
I love building software, managing software development teams, and planning software products. I passionately invest my energy into making sure everyone on the team is motivated and content, up to and after the point when the product is delivered to a satisfied customer.
I am currently working as head of IT at FER, University of Zagreb. Previously as a full-stack web developer on the same team I now lead. For a few years I was also tasked with customer relationship management for the product that we built and continue building.
We called it e-Campus, based on our own Quilt CMS, and it is the best thing for universities since sliced bread. Internally at FER, we used that platform to implemented all our teaching and many business processes as applications. Naturally, many other Croatian faculties and a few different universities could use it – and became our clients.
I am also an active open source and free software advocate, currently the president of the awesome Croatian Association for Open Systems and Internet – HrOpen.
I am also a wannabe biker, not that bad guitar player, maybe that bad singer, recreational tennis, squash and football player, tired runner, and am eagerly awaiting for my 300 EUR in BTC to hit a solid zero in value.
